Es gibt mir das Gef\u00fchl nach Hause zu kommen.\u201c<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Denise Seyhans exzellent gef\u00fchrte, unverwechselbare dramatische Stimme besticht durch gro\u00dfen Farbreichtum und enorme Flexibilit\u00e4t. Durch ihre gro\u00dfe Offenheit und enorme Spielfreude kann sie sich auch in ungew\u00f6hnliche Regiekonzepte gut einf\u00fchlen<em>. <\/em><em>\u201cSie ist eine hervorragende S\u00e4ngerin und wunderbare B\u00fchnendarstellerin\u201c<\/em> (Elias Grandy).<\/p>\n<p>Die deutsch-osmanische Mezzosopranistin vervollst\u00e4ndigte Ihre Ausbildung nach dem Gesangsstudium an der Musikhochschule Karlsruhe zun\u00e4chst bei Gabriele Kniesel, die sie auch bei Ihrem zweiten Stimmfachwechsel zur\u00fcck ins Mezzo-Repertoire betreute. Danach erlernte sie in langj\u00e4hriger Zusammenarbeit mit Walter Donati und Anna Rita Esposito die italienische Gesangstechnik (Alte Schule), wodurch sich die Stimme schlie\u00dflich schnell ins dramatische Fach entwickelte.<\/p>\n<p>Nach Ihren ersten Engagements als Dorabella und H\u00e4nsel sang sie bald wichtige Fachpartien wie die <strong>Knusperhexe <\/strong>(\u201eH\u00e4nsel und Gretel\u201c), <strong>Ulrica<\/strong> (\u201eUn ballo in Maschera\u201c), <strong>Amneris<\/strong> (<strong>\u201e<\/strong>Aida\u201c), <strong>Fricka<\/strong> (\u201cWalk\u00fcre\u201c und \u201eRheingold\u201c), <strong>Erda <\/strong>(\u201eRheingold\u201c),<strong> Old Lady <\/strong>(\u201eCandide\u201c), wie auch <strong>3. Dame <\/strong>(\u201eZauberfl\u00f6te\u201c) und <strong>1. Magd<\/strong> (\u201eElektra\u201c). Diese Partie sang sie auch in ihrer ersten Operneinspielung, einer Gesamtaufnahme von Elektra, die im M\u00e4rz 2025 beim Klassiklabel \u201eSolo Musica\u201c erschien. Sie gastiert an den Theatern Badisches Staatstheater, MiR Gelsenkirchen, Pforzheim, Giessen, Heidelberg und Brandenburg, wie auch in zahlreichen freien Produktionen.<\/p>\n<p>Neben ihrer T\u00e4tigkeit als Operns\u00e4ngerin konzertiert sie mit einem breitgef\u00e4cherten Repertoire im In- und Ausland. Seit 2024 fokussiert sie sich verst\u00e4rkt auf das Konzertfach und sang 2025 u.a. Johannespassion, Mozartrequiem, Stabat Mater (Pergolesi) und Theresienmesse (Haydn).<\/p>\n<p>Anl\u00e4sslich 125 Jahre Hymnus Chorknaben gab sie in der <strong>Liederhalle Stuttgart <\/strong>mit dem Altsolo im <strong>\u201eElias\u201c<\/strong> unter der Leitung von Rainer Johannes Homburg ihr Hausdeb\u00fct.<\/p>\n<p>Auch 2026 ist bereits wieder gef\u00fcllt mit Konzertverpflichtungen, darunter u.a. auch die \u201eMass for Peace \u2013 The Armed Man\u201c von K. Jenkins. Im November 2026 wird sie unter der Leitung von Patrick Fritz-Benzing in St. Stephan in Karlsruhe ihr erstes <strong>Verdi-Requiem<\/strong> singen.<\/p>\n<p>Weitere Konzert-H\u00f6hepunkte in der Vergangenheit waren Beethovens 9. Sinfonie, anl\u00e4sslich des Festaktes 50 Jahre deutsch-franz\u00f6sische Freundschaft in der Cath\u00e9drale de Reims (Frankreich) und eine Konzertreise mit dem Wests\u00e4chsischen Symphonieorchester durch Quintana Roo, Mexiko.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><!-- close content main div --><\/div><\/div><div id='testimonials'  class='avia-section Danach erlernte sie in langj\u00e4hriger Zusammenarbeit mit Walter Donati und Anna Rita Esposito die italienische Gesangstechnik (Alte Schule), wodurch sich die Stimme schlie\u00dflich schnell ins dramatische Fach entwickelte.<\/p>\n<p>Nach Ihren ersten Engagements als Dorabella und H\u00e4nsel sang sie bald wichtige Fachpartien wie die <strong>Knusperhexe <\/strong>(\u201eH\u00e4nsel und Gretel\u201c), <strong>Ulrica<\/strong> (\u201eUn ballo in Maschera\u201c), <strong>Amneris<\/strong> (<strong>\u201e<\/strong>Aida\u201c), <strong>Fricka<\/strong> (\u201cWalk\u00fcre\u201c und \u201eRheingold\u201c), <strong>Erda <\/strong>(\u201eRheingold\u201c),<strong> Old Lady <\/strong>(\u201eCandide\u201c), wie auch <strong>3. Dame <\/strong>(\u201eZauberfl\u00f6te\u201c) und <strong>1. Magd<\/strong> (\u201eElektra\u201c). Diese Partie sang sie auch in ihrer ersten Operneinspielung, einer Gesamtaufnahme von Elektra, die im M\u00e4rz 2025 beim Klassiklabel \u201eSolo Musica\u201c erschien. Sie gastiert an den Theatern Badisches Staatstheater, MiR Gelsenkirchen, Pforzheim, Giessen, Heidelberg und Brandenburg, wie auch in zahlreichen freien Produktionen.<\/p>\n<p>Neben ihrer T\u00e4tigkeit als Operns\u00e4ngerin konzertiert sie mit einem breitgef\u00e4cherten Repertoire im In- und Ausland. Seit 2024 fokussiert sie sich verst\u00e4rkt auf das Konzertfach und sang 2025 u.a. Johannespassion, Mozartrequiem, Stabat Mater (Pergolesi) und Theresienmesse (Haydn).<\/p>\n<p>Anl\u00e4sslich 125 Jahre Hymnus Chorknaben gab sie in der <strong>Liederhalle Stuttgart <\/strong>mit dem Altsolo im <strong>\u201eElias\u201c<\/strong> unter der Leitung von Rainer Johannes Homburg ihr Hausdeb\u00fct.<\/p>\n<p>Auch 2026 ist bereits wieder gef\u00fcllt mit Konzertverpflichtungen, darunter u.a. auch die \u201eMass for Peace \u2013 The Armed Man\u201c von K. Jenkins. Im November 2026 wird sie unter der Leitung von Patrick Fritz-Benzing in St. Stephan in Karlsruhe ihr erstes <strong>Verdi-Requiem<\/strong> singen.<\/p>\n<p>Weitere Konzert-H\u00f6hepunkte in der Vergangenheit waren Beethovens 9. Anschlie\u00dfend produzierte sie 2022 das musikalische Theaterst\u00fcck \u201eDie rosa Gefahr\u201c \u00fcber das Leben von sechs Komponistinnen, mit dem \u201eDie Mimusen\u201c seitdem, seit Herbst 2022 mit der Schauspielerin Henrietta Teipel, deutschlandweit gastieren.<\/p>\n<p>2020 wurde sie Finalistin im \u201ePrix Atelier d\u2019exellence\u201c (Schwerpunkt italienische Oper), Semifinalistin in der Kategorie \u201eWagner-Stimmen\u201c beim Wettbewerb \u201eNuovo Canto\u201d in Mailand, wie auch bei den Gesangs-Wettbewerben von NYIOP (2020 und 2024).<\/p>\n<p>Eine gute musikalische Zusammenarbeit verbindet Denise Seyhan u.a. mit den\u00a0 DirigentInnen Elias Grandy, Yura Yang, Rainer Johannes Homburg und Michael Hofstetter.
